Where Is It Stated It's Too Late (to repent) After This Life?

My response to the question I asked Dr. B. on Youtube regarding his video promoting an eternal hell for the vast majority of mankind.

to late to repent
Note: My comments to Dr. B. are in Blue

You asked; "where is it stated that it's too late (to repent) after this life?"

Let me ask you this question Zac!
Do you think a man who murder babies and little children who has no remorse(sorry) and doesn't believe in Jesus Christ before he dies can be saved and get into Heaven?

______

MY COMMENT: I'll answer your questions as you answered mine, with more questions as you obviously don't have scripture that states it is too late to repent after this life.

Paul said (by his own admission) that he was the greatest sinner that has ever lived (do we think he LIED?) He tortured and murdered countless Christians, and look how God Changed him!

Your question Dr. is derived from human emotion and plays to the carnal nature of man. Is stealing a candy bar before one dies unrepented without believing in Christ or the atrocities you describe going to keep a person from salvation according to your doctrinal view?

_________

repent or die
Without REPENTANCE there is no forgiveness of sins!
many die everyday without remorse or REPENTANCE for their sins! You think they go to Heaven?

No one can be save after death! Those who die without belief in Jesus Christ have no salvation(John 3:16).

________
MY COMMENT:

OK, Dr. I'll now play on your human emotions. Do the billions of humans who have never heard the name of Christ fall in to the category of : "Those who die without belief in Jesus Christ have no salvation(John 3:16)" ?

What about: Isaiah 26:9 ....When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

______

YES!! All knees will bow before God in judgement!
God will separate the SAVED from the UNSAVED!
The BELIEVERS from the UNBELIEVERS!

Many to eternal life in Heaven; and many to destruction in Hell. But there is nothing you can say or do to change your judgement! Remember, your on your knees in front of God; not a priest!

_______
COMMENT (btw, isn't Christ our High Priest? added while writing the blog as an afterthought ;)

Phip. 2:10&11
so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (no man can call Christ Lord except by the Holy Spirit) 1 Corinthians 12:3

1 Peter 4:17
For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Are we to believe this judgment that BEGINS with the house of God isn't the same corrective judgment that corrects those who do not obey the gospel? Keep reading the passage, the judgment which begins with God's house is "Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God...."

Chastisement and trial by fire are always corrective in scriptures.

1 Cor. 3:15 1 Peter 4:12
Mal. 3:2 etc etc etc

The rich man taught he could get out of Hell and redo his wrong!
Too late; he died and left his earthly body!
God tells you there is a Hell fire and unsaved people go there.
The rich man died and found himself there; like many others who have died did, and those unbelievers who will die!

You and others who think differently; are very much gulliable!
Gulliable to satan's lie to die and wake up in Hell like the rich man!
Trying to BS your way out; only to find NO WAY OUT!

COMMENT:

First off, the rich man and Lazarus is a parable in a long line of parable by Christ. It is not literal. (are you going to tell me Abraham and Lazarus could really talk to someone being tortured in your hell?)

Fire is often used to represent (as in a parable) judgment, refinement, correction (see previous comment)

Of course the rich man wanted to return to warn his loved ones to repent before judgment. That in and of itself shows he has remorse. That he couldn't just shows those who die that aren't the elect of God will have to go through judgment in the second resurrection. (when the Saints judge the world) 1 Cor 6:2

Dr.
By your very statement above you reveal your motives for believing the way you do. You would rather choose the safe/smarter path even if it distorts the very Character of our Loving God. Isn't that right Dr.?

You remind me of the women who disputed over the child and Solomon decided to cut it in two, when the REAL mother cried NO let her have him!

A REAL follower of Christ will not choose a "safe" position just for their own self interest at the expense of distorting the very Character of God.

Can't you see this? It's extremely profound.

too lateGod tells you in Luke 16 that after death it's too late to change!

COMMENT:

The parable does teach you can't come back from the dead to warn your loved ones, (because you're  dead in the grave for starters) among numerous other things. But no where does the bible teach it's too late to repent and be reconciled to God after Death.

1 Cor 15:28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

God will be ALL in....ALL. Not Partially in Some, Not Partially in a FEW, But ALL in ALL!

Christ came to be the Savior of the World! You believe Satan is more powerful than Christ as you believe that Christ will fail to save the vast majority.

Here is what I gain from the scriptures in a nutshell Dr.

The few that are "chosen" are the very elect that are the "Saints that judge the world". The majority that enter at the "broad" gate are those that will be judged at the 2nd resurrection.

This judgment is no cake walk, neither are the trials and sufferings of this life a cake walk for the very elect. Just look what Peter, Paul, John etc. went through. (actually we can't even imagine their suffering IMO)

The vast majority of men, women, and CHILDREN who have died in the past have never even heard of Christ. (billions). Even if you believe children under the age of accountability are spared as many do, (they still have a carnal nature which is opposed to God) they still must be reconciled to God through the same judgment the elect "house of God" went through during their lifetimes. There's no pressed-O change-O they're now righteous. You see?

The reward of the Saints is to rule during the next age with Christ. After that age comes the 2nd Res. and the judgment which will culminate with Christ have put all enemies under his feet and all being subject to God being All in All. (no more death, pain, etc)

Meditate for a while how your doctrine supports the idea a few will be living in heavenly bliss while billions are tormenting in unspeakable torture for endless ages! While God found it the only way to make a family was to ultimately torture the vast majority of the candidates that didn't qualify!

Think on that for a while Dr. Think on the scriptures I presented.

May God show you His Love for all His Creation so you can share it with them!

Zac
P.S. I can show you much more to support my position, but I tried to be as brief as possible. :)

  1. Dr. B. I was just getting ready to reply to your previous email where you tried to defend the rich man and Lazarus as a literal story instead of a parable. I decided to briefly answer this response and save the longer answer to your previous email for tomorrow.

Here is your latest email with my response in the Comments sections.

    From Dr. B. to Zacman
    You asked'
Where is it stated that it is too late after this life?

From all the crying(vs24) and begging(vs27) the rich man did; did he save himself?
There was no escape! Luke 16:26

Here is the answer to your question!

    In Luke 16
While the idea of a second chance for salvation is appealing, the Bible is clear that death is the end of all chances. Hebrews 9:27 tells us that we die, and then face judgment. So, as long as a person is alive, he has a second, third, fourth, fifth, etc. chance to accept Christ and be saved (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31). Once a person dies, there are no more chances.

    ________
    My comment:

First Dr. B. the rich man didn't "face judgment"! He immediately goes to hades in this parable without ever being judged. Judgment is yet future as I hope you understand.

Second, where is it you find judgment is only to set out a punishment instead of a corrective chastisement?

    ____________

    It's like after the fact!
    God don't play games!

No where can you read where God says you get a final last chance after death!

    _________

    My comment:

Is. 26:9 ;;;When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.

    _________

If that was the case Zacman; people would not have to live rightous or repent. they could continue sinning knowing that they had one last chance after death! Of course when they see God; what you think their gonna do? Play angel! That would be hypocritical and deceiving! Live a life of sin; then get saved after death? PLEASE!
God will not be Mocked zacman!

    ______

    My comment:

Just what exactly do you think the judgment of the house of God now is accomplishing Dr. B? It's destroying our Carnal nature, isn't it? Through many trials, tribulations, suffering etc. we learn Godliness.

Why do you think Paul speaks about being tried by fire. Or that the fiery trials that come upon us should be no surprise? Fire refines Dr. B. It's figurative of correction.

Do you think humanity will instantly become righteous in judgment? Think again! The Saints will judge the world, and that likely will take a very long time. It will be very painful for some of the most Carnal minds. Look what some of the Saints went through in this age.

    ___________

That's exactly what the rich man thought! "A SECOND chance"!

Man says; you have another chance after you die.
God says; after death the judgement!

    ___________

Yes, and thank God when his judgments are in the earth, the world will learn righteousness!

    Is. 26:9
